Assad: 'If I Go, None of Syria Remains'

Syrian dictator Bashar Assad has privately pledged to "fight to his last bullet" in his ancestral hometown of Qardaha, vowing, "If I go, none of Syria remains." The daily pools of blood spilled by his madmen cause hearts to be warmed by signs of Assad's impending fall, but one Syrian Christian opposition activist is loudly warning that light is not waiting at the end of the tunnel. Islamist hordes are. [more...]

The United Nations' Year-End Message to Israel

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon devoted part of his year-end press conference on December 19th to bashing Israel for its announcement of plans to build new housing in and around Jerusalem. He claimed that the Israeli announcement was a "near fatal blow to a very fragile Middle East peace process."

"I am deeply concerned by heightened settlement activity in the West Bank, in particular around Jerusalem," the Secretary General complained. "This gravely threatens efforts to establish a viable Palestinian state." [more...]

New Signs Assad Preparing to Use Chemical Weapons

The Syrian regime’s insertion of sarin gas into aerial bombs prompted the U.S. to warn Bashar Assad of “consequences” if he uses his huge chemical weapons arsenal. Now, Assad is setting the stage to blame any attack on the rebels, reportedly even printing pamphlets accusing “terrorists” of using the weapons. And he doesn’t have much time: A senior U.S. official says the weaponized sarin gas expires in 60 days. The countdown has begun. [more...]

Syrian Jihadists Get Obama’s Blessing

President Obama chose an exclusive interview with ABC News’s Barbara Walters to announce his decision that the United States now formally recognizes the recently formed umbrella coalition of Syrian rebels who are fighting to topple Syrian President Bashar Assad. The coalition is known formally as the National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces. In yet another example of leading from behind, Obama’s decision follows recognition of the rebel coalition by France, Britain, Turkey, the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council. [more...]

Uncle Sam is Ordering Americans to Submit to Islam

The Wall Street Journal reports this week about a new draft handbook for U.S. troops in Afghanistan designed to prevent their Afghan "partners" from murdering them. The problem, according to the Army, is "ignorance of, or lack of empathy for Muslim and/or Afghan cultural norms" on the part of U.S. troops. The solution, according to the Army, is for troops to accept these same Muslim and/or Afghan norms - or else be killed. In effect, then, Uncle Sam is ordering Americans to submit to Islam or die - exactly the choice offered to infidels vanquished by jihad. As far I can tell, the main difference is Uncle Sam will require them to salute while submitting. [more...]

Muslim-American Groups Silent on Anti-Democratic Moves in Egypt

Over 200,000 Egyptians protested in Tahrir Square against President Mohammed Morsi's decree granting himself absolute power. This is the top story in the Muslim world right now, but strangely, there is nothing but silence from prominent Muslim-American groups who cheered on the revolution against President Mubarak and instantly condemned Israel for retaliating against the terrorist Hamas regime. U.S. Halal Company Raided, Founder Has Islamist Ties

U.S. government agents from the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Agriculture raided the offices of the Midamar Corporation, a major producer of halal foods (food prepared according to Islamic law), on October 17 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. National Security Analyst Ryan Mauro exposed the Islamist ties of Midamar founder Bill Aossey and the mosque he attends, the Islamic Center of Cedar Rapids, in FrontPage Magazine on December 1, 2011. Shockingly, Aossey sat at the same table as President Obama during an Iftar dinner on August 13, 2010. [more...]

Iran Murdering U.S. Soldiers in Afghanistan

The attention on Iran is always about the “red line” its nuclear program cannot be permitted to cross, but there’s another “red line” it is crossing with impunity: The deliberate murder of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan. Americans are quick to say they “support the troops” but in Afghanistan, their Iranian murderers are rarely mentioned in the media or by officials. [more...]

California Church to Become Site of Islamist Convention

The Muslim Public Affairs Council’s choice of location for its 12th Annual Convention on December 15 is telling: The All Saints Episcopal Church of Pasadena, California. The group, founded by Muslim Brotherhood followers, says this is the “next step in its mission by crossing the interfaith line.” Yet again, the Islamists are taking advantage of naive Christians with a desire to show off their tolerance. The New Democracy in Egypt: Minority Rule

Almost twenty months ago, the world celebrated with the Egyptian people the removal of a longtime dictator: Mubarak, as a victory for the new Arab Spring democracy. Almost a year later, things turned sour and the new hope for democracy turned into despair as a result of the apparent control of the Muslim Brotherhoods and Salafis on the direction of the election to choose the new president. By June of this year, it was very clear that the Muslim Brotherhoods are in control of power as the newly elected president of Egypt, Muhammad Morsi, emerged from the ranks of this Islamic group known for its hardliner religious approach, affinity for sharia law, and support for terrorism. The Arab Supremacist Islamist 'State' of 'Palestine'

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas came to New York for the second time in four months to present the Palestinian case for statehood in person to the United Nations General Assembly. He basked in the glory of thunderous standing ovations, which both preceded and followed his speech. Thousands of miles from Gaza and Ramallah, Abbas was enjoying his own version of a Turtle Bay “New York State of Mind.” [more...]

Palestinian Statehood: An Ominous Vote at the U.N.

Permanent United Nations Observer of Palestine, Riyad H. Mansour, heralded the upcoming vote by the United Nations General Assembly on November 29th to upgrade the Palestinians’ status to an observer "state" as an "historic event." He boasted that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s maneuver, in which Abbas will personally appear at the General Assembly and present the resolution for a vote, was a form of resistance to Israeli occupation that Mansour labeled "diplomatic resistance." The Israeli-Hamas Cease Fire: Winners & Losers

Since last week the world has been celebrating a brokered cease fire deal between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The cease fire was the result of what appeared to be an imminent ground assault by the Israeli troops against the militant Islamic group Hamas. The fighting which began few weeks earlier was the result of the constant missile firing by the militant group from the Gaza Strip against Israel. For years Hamas has been firing thousands if missiles onto Israel in an effort to instigate a fight. Supported by Iran, Hamas' missile arsenal included long range missiles capable of reaching prominent cities including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Such a non-stop assault was the reason for the Israeli retaliation against the terrorist group. However, one must ask: who are the winners and losers out of this deal? [more...]

What Americans are Paying for in Egypt

The U.S. government is about to add $450 million to its $16 trillion debt for the sake of Muslim Brotherhood-run Egypt. According to the New York Times the emergency cash transfer is part of a $1 billion aid package pledged in May. The original plan was to provide $190 million as soon as possible, but the declining economic conditions of Egypt convinced the Obama Administration to more than double that amount. Another $260 million will be delivered once Egypt secures a $4.8 billion loan from the International Monetary Fund. [more...]

Re-Arming Gaza’s Terrorists

President Obama pushed Israel into accepting a ceasefire arrangement with Hamas, which was engineered by Hamas’s Muslim Brotherhood patron, Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi. Under the terms of the ceasefire, Israel is supposed to negotiate, through Egyptian intermediaries, an easing of border restrictions between Gaza and Israel. This would be the same Egyptian government that had sent its prime minister to Gaza to express solidarity with Hamas during the fighting. Hamas, on the other hand, is not required to give up its remaining stockpile of Iranian-supplied weapons, nor to commit to cease all further imports of Iranian missiles or missile parts. In short, the ceasefire is a sham. Only a Gaza Strip without re-armed terrorists can truly stop the fire in the long run. [more...]

Morsi Becomes Egypt's 'New Pharaoh'

On November 21, Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood President Mohammed Morsi was praised for his role in brokering a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel. He had positioned himself as the moderate peacemaker worthy of the $1 billion per year the U.S. had given his predecessor. The very next day he cashed in his good will with an enormous power grab that made him, in the words of one prominent Egyptian, the “new Pharoah.” [more...]

King on Petraeus

After Rep. Peter King's appearance before the press after David Petraeus appeared before the House Intelligence Committee on November 16, he is clearly struggling with what he has heard from Petraeus: a version of Petraeus' September 14 briefing at odds with what King and, more important, the record as set at the time by the ranking Democrat Dutch Ruppersberger, recall. In a nutshell, on September 14, Petraeus emphasized a "spontaneous," video-driven protest that became violent as "extreme" groups opportunistically attacked the U.S. compound (with RPGs and mortars). Petraeus spun this false narrative to the intell committee at a time when the U.S. government already knew no protest whatsoever had taken place in Benghazi; rather, that the ambassador and three other Americans had been killed in a planned assault by al-Qaeda linked groups on the anniversary of 9/11. Petraeus' testimony, in other words, was a lie and an outrage - but no one seems to care. Meanwhile, it is a crime to lie to Congress, oath or no oath. [more...]

Targeted Killings: Good for the U.S.; Good for Israel

There have been one million people, extending from Ashdod to Sderot who have been receiving a steady barrage of rocket attacks and have fifteen seconds to run for their lives. Israel has endured over 800 of these attacks from Gaza in the last year. Could you imagine how the United States would respond if San Diego were receiving this sort of an onslaught from Mexico, or Buffalo from Canada? According to article 51 of the United Nations Charter, every any nation has an inherent right to defend itself. Hamas, which is on the official State Department list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations, was swept into power in free and open elections on January 26, 2006. It is the group that has been behind much of the suicide bombings which Israel has endured since 1996. [more...]

The Three Evil Pillars of the Palestinian Jihadist War Strategy

Israel is currently fighting a three-pronged war in its on-going struggle to protect its citizens from Palestinian terrorists - physical asymmetric warfare, cyberwar and lawfare. Together they constitute the three evil pillars of the Palestinian jihadist war strategy that are a severe threat to Israel’s security. The most obvious is the unremitting rocket assaults launched from Gaza by Hamas and its jihadist brethren. Before the current hostilities broke out, they had already fired hundreds of rockets against Israeli civilian population centers all during 2012, despite repeated warnings by Israel to stop and letters to the UN Security Council that were repeatedly ignored. Finally, Israel decided that enough was enough. It had to send an unequivocal, forceful message or the daily terror suffered by its citizens would only get worse. [more...]

Four Islamists on Gov. Christie’s Muslim Outreach Committee

A RadicalIslam.org investigation has discovered that at least four Islamists sit on New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s Muslim outreach committee, which was formed after Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa concluded in May that NYPD intelligence-gathering operations in New Jersey did not break any laws. All of the information about the Islamist backgrounds of these four committee members is publicly available, yet the Christie Administration picked them to serve as liaisons to the Muslim community of the state. As a result, they are having private meetings with N.J.’s top security officials. This is just the latest example of Christie’s embrace of Islamists that should be shunned, not exalted. [more...]

Illinois Islamist Conference 'Educates' Next Generation

American Muslims for Palestine has added four more Islamists to their lineup of speakers for their conference near Chicago on November 22-25 (not to be confused with the other Islamist conference, the 11th annual convention of the Muslim American Society and the Islamic Circle of North America in Chicago on December 22-25). The program for the event also reflects an Islamist agenda, including a session that legitimizes Palestinian terrorism. And, most disturbingly, there’s a session about how to teach these beliefs to children. [more...]

Muslim Brotherhood Mobilizes for Hamas

Israel has finally struck back against the terrorist enclave of Gaza after having 120 rockets fired at it since Saturday and over 700 this year alone. For now, the Obama administration is rhetorically supporting Israel, but the Muslim Brotherhood government in Egypt is doubling down on its support for Hamas, Gaza’s ruling terrorist organization, and has withdrawn its ambassador to Israel. U.S.-based Islamists and their non-Muslim allies can be counted on in the ensuing days to pressure the administration to throw Israel under the bus in favor of the Islamist rulers of Egypt. If Egypt takes action, the administration will have to choose between its relationship with Israel or its relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood. There is no middle ground to straddle. [more...]

Obama’s America: Jailed for Blaspheming against Islam

Obama believes his re-election gives him a mandate to continue on his path to “fundamentally transform” America. He is well on his way to fundamentally transforming the First Amendment’s protection of freedom of speech to a more Sharia-friendly version. The transformation is playing out before our eyes in the persecution of the producer of the anti-Islam video blamed by Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other top administration officials for the Benghazi murders. The day after Obama’s re-election victory lap, the video producer, Mark Basseley Youssef, was sentenced by a federal district court judge to one year in prison for violating the terms of his probation. The Obama administration had gone after Youssef relentlessly, using probation violations as a convenient pretext to arrest and prosecute him. The real goal was to punish Youssef for blasphemy against Islam - a crime under Sharia law. [more...]

More Details on Benghazi

On September 17, Reuters ran a story headlined: "Intel agencies warned U.S. Embassy in Egypt of possible violence." That's nice. So why didn't "intel agencies" warn the US Embassy in Libya of possible violence, too? Presumably because the "intel agences" -- Petraeus' CIA, no doubt -- were focused on a "video threat" in Egypt, not in Libya, and on September 10 they cabled the embassy in Egypt accordingly. Egypt was indeed jump-starting another Islamic rage cycle from a Youtube video clip, "Innocence of Muslims," whose producer, incredibly, remains in jail on "parole violations." But, conveniently forgotten amid the many administration statements that there was no forewarning of an attack in Libya, AQ leader Ayman al-Zawaheri uploaded a video of his own on September 9 and 10 calling for Libyans to attack the U.S. to avenge the U.S. killing of a senior AQ leader from Libya, Yahya al-Libi. This video apparently went ignored by these same "intel agencies." [more...]

Did Iran Have a Hand in Benghazi?

There have been a slew of breaking reports concerning what might have drawn the late Ambassador Christopher Stevens to Benghazi on September 10 and 11. The different strands of this developing story indicate that Stevens may have been there to oversee or inspect an ongoing covert CIA operation to supply weapons and men to the jihadist-dominated "rebels" fighting Syria's Assad. Stevens' last meeting, after all, was with Turkish Consul General Ali Sait Akin. Turkey, of course, with Qatar and Saudi Arabia, is a leading supporter of the "rebels" fighting to overthrow Assad. But there may be a deeper, more secret layer of dirt to unearth. [more...]

Obama's Jihad Alliance

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a column addressing the national scandal that investigation into the security failures and lies surrounding 'Benghazi-gate' must also expose. This even larger scandal concerns the fact that throughout the revolutionary cycle known as Arab Spring, the Obama administration threw in Uncle Sam’s lot with the bad guys - the “rebels,” the “martyrs,” the Muslim Brothers, the whole jihad-happy and Sharia-ruling crew in Libya and the wider Middle East. In so doing, Uncle Sam, more or less, crossed to the "other side." [more...]

Why the Demise of Al-Qaeda is Wishful Thinking

Since the 9/11 attack, Al-Qaeda - the terrorist organization behind the attack - has been under the global radar. Military retaliation operations were launched against them by U.S. troops and their allies. Progress to eliminate the group was on target, proven by the assassination of two of their most prominent and influential leaders: Bin Laden in Pakistan, followed by Al-Awlaqi, the leader of AQAP in Yemen. The call for celebration was on the rise since Al-Qaeda was seemingly on the demise. After all, how can they survive after the fall of their leaders and other operatives by the precision and might of the SEAL teams and the DRONE attacks? However, despite all of this, and in the wake of the deaths of thousands of U.S. soldiers in military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq which stemmed from the 9/11 attack by Al-Qaeda, recent reports indicate that Al-Qaeda remains healthy and resilient. The Unlikely and Dangerous Shi'ite-Sunni Terror Partnership

On October 18, The Obama Administration again confirmed that the Shi'ite Iranian regime is working with the Sunni-Salafist Al-Qaeda terrorist group when the Treasury Department blacklisted two Al-Qaeda leaders operating in Iran. In July 2011, the administration revealed that Iran had struck a “secret deal” with Al-Qaeda, blowing apart the myth that the hostility between Sunni and Shi'ite Islamists precludes them from helping each other fight a common enemy. October Surprise: Direct Talks with Iran?

By Joseph Klein

On the eve of the third and final presidential debate, which deals with foreign policy, the New York Times ran a lead story, citing unnamed Obama administration officials, that the United States and Iran have agreed in principle for the first time to one-on-one negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program. Iran reportedly has insisted that its direct talks with Washington should not begin until after the U.S. presidential election on November 6 and wants to broaden the scope of the discussions beyond just the nuclear enrichment issues. Act 2 for the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty

It looks like the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), which got nowhere during a month of negotiations at UN headquarters in New York last July, is about to get another chance on the global stage. A resolution is likely to be introduced at the UN General Assembly this month calling for a revival of the negotiations at a treaty conference next March in New York. The difference this time is that the treaty proponents are trying to eliminate the consensus process and allow the treaty to be approved by a two-thirds vote of the General Assembly. The Benghazi Dilemma: Why the Radical Islamists are Still Winning

Since the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, there have been many conflicting reports about the circumstances surrounding this troubling incident. This reveals a very sad reality: either the U.S. intelligence community is in a state of chaos, or the State Department and the Administration are not communicating well with one another. Either way, this is very troubling. It tells the radicals that the U.S. is not prepared to defend its foreign establishments - a welcome invitation to the terrorists to launch more deadly attacks. It also sends an indirect message to the radical Islamists that the U.S. is not willing to denounce them or their ideology; rather, a cover-up is being constructed to avoid taking such direction. This can only mean one thing to the radicals: they are winning BIG. Such a reality can fuel their desires even more to launch other attacks, knowing there are no immediate consequences. [more...]

Arming Our Enemies

The Obama administration has a habit of helping our enemies obtain weapons, with lethal consequences. The Fast & Furious operation resulted in guns going to Mexican drug lords. The Libyan “lead from behind” operation allowed weapons to get loose and ultimately into the hands of Islamist jihadists. The latest episode involves arms flowing from Islamic countries, who claim to be in our camp, to Islamist jihadists, some with ties or affiliations with al Qaeda. [more...]

Muslim-Christian Interfaith Group Calls for Blasphemy Laws

The United Muslim Christian Forum, a friendly-sounding “interfaith” group issued a press release on September 18 demanding the prosecution of the makers of the low-quality Innocence of Muslims film that appeared on YouTube. Romney's Foreign Policy Vision

In his speech at VMI, Presidential candidate Romney laid out a plan to reform the current U.S. foreign policy and its handling of terrorism in the Middle East. Mr. Romney pointed out that the attack in Benghazi which resulted in the killing of U.S. Ambassador Stevens was the work of the same group responsible for the 9/11 attack, something that was very evident to the world, and radical Islamists did not even hide. Mr. Romney’s proposal to reform the U.S. foreign policies by exhibiting confidence in the U.S. cause, clarity in its purpose, and resolution in its mind towards these serious regional issues that have carried a negative impact on national security in recent years, is without a doubt the only way radical Islamists can be stopped and reduced, and for them to look up to the U.S. once again as the power it once was. Unless such reformation takes place SOON, the world will continue to experience a major shift in global powers where radical Islamists are at the center of it all. [more...]

Violence Breaks Out in Iran as Economy Falters

Don’t mistake the quieting of the Green Revolution as a sign of popular support for the Iranian regime. Those that risked their lives to protest in the summer of 2009 aren’t going to be won over by their oppressors. Since then, the economic situation has only gotten worse and with it, the anger of the Iranian people. All that is needed for Round Two is a trigger and the collapse of the Iranian currency over the past week might just be it. [more...]

The Sharia Brief - Why "the Video" Was a Success for Sharia

The recent out-of-control riots all over the Islamic world over an anti-Islamic movie which the majority of Muslims were not even aware of until the U.S. embassy in Egypt issued an apology concerning this low budget YouTube video, serves as another example of the lack of understanding by the Obama administration of how the Islamic culture works. Such an apology sparked an unexpected wave of violence that spanned from the far Western region of North Africa all the way across to South East Asia, resulting in the tragic death of the U.S. ambassador to Libya and the deaths of scores of other innocent people. It is quite disturbing to see this trend of an attitude downplaying such major and serious terror operations which stem from the core agenda of Radical Islam. Either the national security advisors are not receiving proper intelligence or they are down-right clueless to the risk of radical Islam and are ill-equipped to assess the type of intelligence they are receiving. High U.N. Official Calls Free Speech a 'Gift'

The United Nations would have us forget all about the idea of inalienable rights with which all individuals are endowed by their Creator. The UN wants us to forget the idea that government was established for the purpose of securing these rights, not to create them with the power to take them away. Such ideas are so old-fashioned, after all. The Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights, including the First Amendment, were written in the eighteenth century. The United Nations believes it has a much more modern idea. [more...]

Radical Speech at NY Muslim Parade Prompts On-Stage Walk-Off

The United West, an activist group led by Tom Trento, released video from the 27th Annual Muslim Day Parade in New York City that took place on Sunday, September 23, showing state Senator Tony Avella (D-11th District) walking off-stage in disgust over Islamist rhetoric. The video shows an imam with a thick accent from Brooklyn stating on stage, "The freedom of speak and freedom of rights our problem starts. Obama’s U.N. Speech Hits and Misses the Mark

In President Obama's speech at the United Nations this week, he sent a message to the Islamic world: We, like you, fear the critics of Islam. Though he stood against the Islamic blasphemy laws that punish real and imagined insulters of Islam, he reinforced the Islamist narrative that a war on Islam is underway. “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust is denied. Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims, and Shiite pilgrims,” President Obama said.

Why the Obama Administration is Perfect for the Muslim Brotherhood

By Al Fadi

As a former radical Muslim who once had aspirations to fight as a jihadist against the enemies of Allah, I find it disheartening when I hear or read about the many venues of support that the Obama Administration has made in the past or is making available to the Muslim Brotherhood - a radical Islamic group that aims for world domination, Islamic Caliphate resurrection, Sharia law implementation, Jihad implementation, and the destruction of the enemies of Allah, which includes America. Since 2008, it has become apparent that the Muslim Brotherhood is being dealt with in a special way with so many amenities and privileges being granted to them. Such privileges include access to or even employment in many sensitive government positions dealing with national security. Many other external signs support this new disturbing trend, such as access to the Egyptian presidency when the Obama Administration pulled the plug on Mubarak, a long time regional ally. [more...]

Who Expects the Egyptian Military, Under Mohammad Morsi, to Protect Israel from Islamist Terrorism?

The newly appointed head of the Egyptian military, General Abdel Fattah al Sissi, is a known Muslim Brother sympathizer.

I woke up to the news on Sunday, that the recently elected President of Egypt, Mohammad Morsi, had just fired General Tantawi, and his military Chief of Staff, Sami Annan, along with commanders of the air force, navy and an anti-aircraft unit. He did so while dissolving Article 25 of the Egyptian Constitution that affords the Egyptian military some degree of independence and grants them some legislative powers, and therefore made the entire military a part of his Muslim Brotherhood government. In their stead, Morsi has promoted generals and chiefs of staff who were all part of Muslim Brotherhood sleeper cells.

For the last year and a half, or ever since the events began in Tahrir Square, I, and my small organization, have been alone on Capitol Hill, talking about the radical Islamist wind blowing throughout the Middle East, and arguing that we should terminate, or at the very least suspend, or even condition, military aid to Egypt, until we see what sort of government will take shape.

Unfortunately, other, much more powerful, organizations in pro-Israel community have been on Capitol Hill lobbying for the exact opposite. They have put their considerable strength and prestige behind a request for continuous military aid for Egypt, arguing that the military is the most democratic of all institutions, and that the dire state of the Egyptian economy and their need for an influx of American dollars will keep the military in power, which will serve as an important check on the Muslim Brotherhood government. Iran’s Axis of Terror Draws Closer

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is having a particularly bad week. His country's Prime Minister Riad Hijab has just defected and appealed to other top officials to "abandon this murderous and terrorist regime." He joined a swelling number of military defectors. The armed opposition continues to strike close to Assad's seat of power, bombing the state television building. However, Assad can still count on his most loyal ally Iran, whose self-described “axis” with the Syrian regime is alive and well. During his visit to Damascus this week to meet with Assad, Saeed Jalil, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and top nuclear negotiator, declared that "Iran will never allow the resistance axis - of which Syria is an essential pillar - to break." Christie Says “Bigots” Attacking Him on Radical Islam

NJ Governor Chris Christie, often described as a "rock star" in the Republican Party, has finally addressed the criticism of his courtship of Islamists. On July 24, Christie held an Iftar dinner at the Governor's Mansion, attended by Imam Mohammad Qatanani, a Hamas-linked cleric whose deportation is sought by the Department of Homeland Security. Christie reiterated his support for Qatanani and made the case to his Muslim audience that he is their ally by ridiculing the "bigots" attacking him. Christie opens by talking about the attacks on "our relationship" (between him and, as he would characterize it, the Muslim community of NJ) that show a "gaze of intolerance that's going around our country that is disturbing." UN Ignores Al-Qaeda Link to Syrian Rebels

A day after Kofi Annan, the Joint Special Envoy for the UN and the League of Arab States for the Syrian Crisis, announced his decision to resign in frustration over the failure of the United Nations Security Council to pass a strong resolution that would enforce compliance with his six-point Syrian peace plan, Arab League members led by Saudi Arabia and Qatar went to the UN General Assembly for a symbolic vote on a resolution strongly condemning the Assad regime. Islamic Sharia and Freedom of Expression

Oftentimes we hear the rhetoric that Islamic Sharia Law is compatible with Western democracy and the U.S. Constitution. Many Muslim advocates of Sharia try to promote the notion that Islam provides adequate forms of democracy and freedom. However, the more one explores such claims, the more disturbing the findings become. Pakistan, for example, has a law that calls for the death penalty against anyone who blasphemes against the prophet of Islam. Many innocent people were victimized as a result of this law, often accused falsely by neighbors or colleagues without any proof. Some as a result have been imprisoned for years losing all forms of freedom. [more...]

Five Congressmen Call for Muslim Brotherhood Influence Investigations

In what could prove to be a watershed moment in the fight against radical Islam, five prominent members of Congress wrote letters to the Inspector Generals of the Departments of State, Justice, Defense, Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence requesting investigations into the influence of Muslim Brotherhood-tied groups and individuals. The letters, signed by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) among others, refers to a 10-part, freely-available online course created by the Center for Security Policy titled, "Muslim Brotherhood in America," narrated by Frank Gaffney, who served as Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy under the Reagan Administration. New Film Exposes Nashville Islamist Network
