Palestinian Bloodlust Unleashed

Two Palestinian thugs, armed with cleavers, knives and a gun, invaded an orthodox synagogue in West Jerusalem early Tuesday during morning prayers, and proceeded to murder four Jewish worshipers in cold blood. At least a dozen others were wounded. Three of the murder victims were American citizens. The fourth was a British citizen. Three of the victims were also rabbis. Israeli police, arriving at the scene of the horrific massacre and exchanging gunfire with the Palestinians as they tried to escape, shot the murderers to death. But the horrible images of the slain and wounded worshipers with blood everywhere, drenching holy books, prayer shawls and walls of the synagogue, will live on for a very long time. The U.S. Should Give China Breathing Room to Rise Peacefully

As President Obama visited China, he insisted that the U.S. welcomed China's rise and wanted that country to play a bigger role in regional and global affairs; but that rhetoric is largely hokum. The United States has been either the premier superpower or the only superpower in the world since World War II, exercising an outsize role in global and East Asian Affairs. In world history, many times rising powers have had tensions or conflict with status quo or declining powers, because the latter resist a more equal relationship with the new "upstart." America is no exception.

Xi Jinping, China's leader, has recently spoken of a "new type of great power relations" with the United States. This is diplomatic speak for China wanting its own sphere of influence in East Asia - much as other great powers have had a security buffer in the past. The American foreign policy elite self-servingly dismiss this Chinese desire as "so 19th century"; of course, they would howl if any country tried to encroach on the U.S. spheres of influence Europe (why the United States is very nervous about Russian activities in Ukraine) and Latin America (traditionally enforced vigorously with the Monroe Doctrine). The Car Intifada

Hamas leaders have urged their followers to use their cars and knives to spill as much Jewish blood as possible. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas called on Palestinians to stop Jews from visiting the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the holiest site in Judaism as well as the location of the Islamic Al Aqsa complex, by using "all means" necessary. The calls for violence by top Palestinian authorities have been enthusiastically answered by thugs in the streets.  Six Israelis have been killed in terror attacks in the last thirty days – not by rockets this time, but by cars and knives wielded as murder weapons against Israeli soldiers and civilians alike, including women and children. Kerry Blames Israel for ISIS Recruitment

Secretary of State John Kerry chose a White House ceremony on October 16th for the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha to regurgitate a false theory linking the Israeli/Palestinian conflict with the increase of jihadist violence and recruitment in the Middle East region.

"As I went around and met with people in the course of our discussions about the ISIL [also referred to as ISIS or the Islamic State] coalition, the truth is we - there wasn't a leader I met within the region who didn't raise with me spontaneously the need to try to get peace between Israel and the Palestinians, because it was a cause of recruitment and of street anger and agitation that they felt – and I see a lot of heads nodding – they had to respond to," Kerry said. "And people need to understand the connection of that. And it has something to do with humiliation and denial and absence of dignity, and Eid celebrates the opposite of all of that." [more...]

Pondering the Wreckage from the Latest Gaza War

As President Obama proceeds with his courtship of "moderate Arab governments" for active roles in his anti-ISIS coalition, he is again ringing the changes on the long-disproved notion that a more hostile American posture towards Israel is needed in order to smooth the path towards ultimate peace in the Middle East. Again, President Obama and his team are screaming that Israel's government is poisoning the wells of diplomacy by building more housing for all of its citizens - Arabs Jews and others - in areas that the PLO insists have belonged exclusively to Arabs since time immemorial. Once again we are being told that surrender by Israel of its position on this and other disputed matters will win goodwill for Israel – that this goodwill will radiate in all directions, smoothing the way to solution of all the differences between Israel and its neighbors. In due course, as Israel surrenders her narrow Zionist vision in favor of grander possibilities, throughout the Arab world the grievances upon which ISIS feeds will be removed or vastly mitigated in the minds of all clear-thinking denizens of the region and the spirit of accommodation will reign. Netanyahu's Truth in a Den of Lies

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a powerful and sobering speech to the United Nations General Assembly on September 29th.  He said he came from Jerusalem to speak on behalf of the Israeli people and to "expose the brazen lies spoken from this very podium against my country and the brave soldiers who defend it. Truth must always be spoken, especially here, in the United Nations," the prime minister said to an audience of government leaders and delegates not used to hearing the truth spoken in the UN on issues relating to the Jewish state. Netanyahu's ISIS Moral Clarity

Confronted with pure evil in the form of ISIS, President Barack Obama treats the jihadists as if they represented an isolated threat that can be dealt with on its own. ISIS (or ISIL as the U.S. government calls it, or the Islamic State as the jihadists now call themselves) has no relationship to Islam, according to the president and his Secretary of State John Kerry. Unlike President Obama, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sees the threat and its animating ideology without rose-colored glasses. Addressing a conference of the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Prime Minister Netanyahu described the repugnant vision as one of global supremacism. The War at Home

As the Islamic State beheads a third hostage and the world recoils in horror and reassures itself that all this has nothing to do with Islam, it is useful to remember that jihad activity continues in the United States – although hardly anyone notices amid the rush to dissociate Islam from the mounting violence committed in its name and in accord with its literal teachings. Take, for example, a Muslim from Seattle, Ali Muhammad Brown who is "currently in jail on $5 million bail for the alleged murder of a college student in late June." He has "already been charged with gunning down two men at 29th and King Street in Seattle's Leschi neighborhood on June 1." And he is "now the prime suspect in a fourth homicide." [more...]

Obama's Indifference to the Islamic State Nightmare

Islamic State of Iraq and Syria ("ISIS," also known variously as "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" or simply the "Islamic State") is metastasizing throughout northern and western Iraq and swaths of Syria. It won't stop there. Jordan, Lebanon, Israel and other parts of the Middle East are within its sights. Ultimately, its pathological leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi warned, ISIS is after the United States. "Our last message is to the Americans. Soon we will be in direct confrontation, and the sons of Islam have prepared for such a day," he said last January. More recently, an ISIS spokesperson declared "we will raise the flag of Allah in the White House."

President Obama, after months of dithering, finally authorized air strikes against ISIS, which are helping to slow down their advance against the Kurds in northern Iraq and to provide space for urgent humanitarian relief to besieged minority groups under threat of genocide by ISIS jihadists. However, as welcome as this is, the president still views ISIS as a local Iraqi problem to be dealt with by instituting a more inclusive centralized government in Baghdad rather than seeing ISIS as part of a much larger global ideological threat. Palestinians’ Prize for Terror

Secretary of State John Kerry - who was heard last Sunday on an open mike between Sunday TV appearances disparaging Israel’s efforts to limit civilian casualties in Gaza - arrived in Cairo on July 21st to frantically cobble together an immediate ceasefire. Seeking the help of Egypt and the United Nations, and even the Hamas-friendly countries of Turkey and Qatar, Kerry is looking for some kind of consensus by the major players in the region for a peace-at-any price formula. He is insisting on a premature ceasefire before Israel is able to find and destroy all the tunnels built under Palestinian civilians’ homes, schools and hospitals, which Hamas is using to hide its weapons and as bases from which to sneak its jihadists into Israel for the purpose of abducting or killing its citizens. Hamas's Nazi-Style Rocket Blitz

The Palestinian unity government, via its co-equal partner Hamas, is committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against Israeli civilians.  Hamas has launched scores of rockets from Gaza aimed at major Israeli cities covering more than half of Israel, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and Caesarea. The attacks have escalated from 6 on June 27th to more than 160 on July 8th. This is Hamas's version of the Nazi-style air blitz, meant to terrorize the Israeli population into submission. Imitating Nazi tactics is a logical extension of the great esteem which Hamas leaders and their Palestinian forebears have held for Adolf Hitler. America - Biggest Bankroller of Palestinian Killers

The search for the three abducted Israeli teenagers, Eyal Yifrach, Gilad Shaar, and Naftali Frenkel (who held Israeli and American citizenship), ended on June 30th with the grisly discovery of their bodies in a shallow grave near the West Bank city of Hebron. They were found by civilian volunteers from an Israeli field school in the area, who alerted Israeli security forces. The boys appeared to have been shot, perhaps shortly after the abrupt ending of a cell phone call from one of the teens in which he said, "I was kidnapped." Cartridges of bullets were found in the burnt out vehicle that was determined to be the car carrying the kidnapped teens. [more...]

Who Funds the Terrorists?

Those who fund terrorists are the elephant in the room that for some reason, people do not see or do not discuss. The bombs the terrorists use to kill innocent civilians are sophisticated and cost far more than guns; up to date military weaponry sells for untold millions. Yet, today’s Islamists do not seem to be suffering from a lack of funding. These people have had the wherewithal to wage war for years on end, first against the army and air force of Libya, later against that of Syria, and now also against Iraq. Hamas and Hezbollah are Shiite groups that are mainly sponsored by Shiite Iran’s petrodollars. However, the recent wars against the armies of Libya, Syria and Iraq were mainly fought by Sunnis. Where did those Sunnis get the tens of billions of dollars needed for these protracted military campaigns? The primary sponsors of Al Qaeda and other Sunni terrorists are likely none other than the "pro-West" Arab oil-producing states.  [more...]

Leader of Jihadist Onslaught in Iraq Released on Obama's Watch

On October 22nd, 2007, Osama bin Laden admitted in an audiotape, entitled "Message to the people of Iraq," that al Qaeda was losing the war in Iraq because it had made mistakes and no longer had the allegiance of Sunni insurgents who had switched sides. When Barack Obama became president on January 20, 2009, the war in Iraq was essentially won. The al Qaeda-backed insurgency was reduced to smoldering embers. George W. Bush's surge had succeeded.

Safely behind bars at the time was Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, an al Qaeda-linked point man who was imprisoned at Camp Bucca in Iraq, after being captured by U.S. forces in 2005. According to a Pentagon assessment at the time, al Baghdadi "would kidnap individuals or entire families, accuse them, pronounce sentence and then publicly execute them." However, the Obama administration decided to shut down the Bucca prison camp and hand over its prisoners to the Iraqi government, including Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, in 2009. The Iraqi government later released him. Al Baghadi boasted to the U.S. soldiers who had held him prisoner, "I’ll see you in New York." [more...]

Time for Truth & Consequences on the Benghazi Cover Up

As Hillary Clinton contemplates running for president in 2016, I wonder if she dreams of conjuring up the Benghazi tragedy and cover-up and repeating in her sleep, "What difference does it make?"  She just cannot get rid of the Benghazi stain on her record. Every time she thinks it's safe to go back into the water and leave Benghazi behind, another bit of the truth is revealed that calls into question the honesty of the Obama administration, including its former Secretary of State, about what happened before, during, and after the September 11, 2012 jihadist attack. And every time, we can count on spinmeisters in President Obama's camp such as White House Press Secretary Jay Carney to say things like Benghazi is old news and that Republicans are engaging in unfounded conspiracy theories. More Heavy Weaponry for Syrian Rebels?

President Obama is considering ramping up military support to the Syrian rebels, who are increasingly dominated by jihadists. American anti-tank missiles have already appeared in videos in the hands of rebel forces. According to an April 21st report in Time Magazine, the White House is now considering sending the rebels shoulder-fired surface-to-air anti-aircraft missiles known as manpads. In the wrong hands, such missiles could be used to take out commercial aircraft. Afghan Troops Push Back Taliban for Successful Election

As unpopular as the war in Afghanistan is, the April 5 presidential election is a moment the West and Afghans can be proud of. The Afghan security forces prevented chaos and turnout was about 60% with one-third of voters being women. The frontrunner, Abdullah Abdullah, wants to immediately sign an agreement to keep U.S. troops around. The incredibleness of what's been achieved can only be appreciated if you think about the obstacles Afghanistan faced. [more...] Watch 'Mosque with extremist ties conducting prison outreach.'

Russia's Threat in the Americas

President Obama dismissed Russia as no more than a "regional power" in remarks he made to the press in The Hague on March 25th, where he was attending a summit meeting on nuclear security. "Russia is a regional power that is threatening some of its immediate neighbors - not out of strength, but out of weakness," he said.

True, the Russian Federation is a shadow of the Soviet empire in its heyday. And Russia is not driven by a global Communist ideology that it seeks to spread to every part of the world in opposition to the capitalist democratic model, as the Soviet Union tried to do. But that does not make Russia a weak neighborhood bully posing little threat beyond its "immediate neighbors," as President Obama seems to think. Mitt Romney was right when he said during the 2012 presidential campaign that Russia is "our number one geopolitical foe."  [more...]

Putin Throws Down the Gauntlet and Obama Shrinks Away

Russian President Vladimir Putin minced no words when on March 18th he signed a treaty with Crimea to signify the absorption of that territory into Russia. Defending the referendum held Sunday in Crimea in which those voting approved the absorption overwhelmingly, Putin declared in a televised address in front of both houses of the Russian parliament and Crimea's purported leaders: "In the hearts and minds of people, Crimea has always been and remains an inseparable part of Russia." Vindicated for Removing Saddam

President Bush's top political advisor, Karl Rove, said on July 15 that his biggest mistake was not fighting back against Democrats trying to score cheap political points by accusing the President of lying to get the country to support an invasion of Iraq. Rove is right, but another mistake was made: not trying to vindicate the removal of Saddam Hussein using evidence, including Iraqi government documents, that was obtained after the regime's overthrow. Compelling evidence exists to show that Saddam's regime was sponsoring terrorists (e.g., Al-Qaeda), had the ability to quickly produce weapons of mass destruction, and the will to use both against its enemies. Russia Steamrolls Over the United Nations

In the phony Crimean referendum held on Sunday March 16th, 95.5% of voters in Crimea have supported joining Russia, Russian officials say. The vote was boycotted by many Crimeans loyal to the Ukraine central government in Kiev, including Tartars who make up about 12% of the Crimean population. Sergei Aksyonov, Crimea's leader installed last month after the Russians effectively occupied Crimea, announced that his government will formally apply on Monday to join the Russian Federation. Shortly after the polls closed, the Obama administration issued a statement rejecting the referendum. Obama's Cold War Denial

President Obama was AWOL on Saturday when his national security team met to discuss the rapidly unfolding events in Ukraine, including Russia's expanded military presence in the Crimea portion of Ukraine. Only a day before, President Obama had warned Russia that there would be "costs" if it violated Ukraine's sovereignty. Saturday morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin gave his answer: He thumbed his nose at Obama. Once again, the Obama administration's vaunted button to "re-set" relations with Russia in a more positive direction has blown up in its face, as Putin continues to play by the rules of realpolitik while Obama flounders. This detached president did not even attend a key national security meeting called to figure out how to best deal with Putin's latest maneuvers. [more...]

Texas Congressman: Terror Enclave Discovery 'Appalling'

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Vice Chair of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security, says that the discovery of a terrorist enclave in Texas by the Clarion Project is "more than troubling - it's appalling." He criticized the "lackluster" response to the threat from Jamaat ul-Fuqra, also known as Muslims of the Americas. His full statement to the Clarion Project is as follows: "When this administration refuses to go to a Boston mosque to investigate radicalized attendees there such as Anwar al-Awlaki, Abdurahman Alamoudi, or the Tsarnaevs, but instead go to those mosques as part of their ‘outreach program’ to be better friends, then this country is in major trouble..." Exclusive: Islamist Terror Enclave Discovered in Texas

FBI documents obtained by Clarion confirm the find and show the U.S. government’s concern about its links to terrorism.

A Clarion Project investigation has discovered a jihadist enclave in Texas where a deadly shooting took place in 2002. Declassified FBI documents obtained by Clarion confirm the find and show the U.S. government’s concern about its links to terrorism. The investigation was completed with help from ACT! For America Houston. The enclave belongs to the network of Muslims of the Americas, a radical group linked to a Pakistani militant group called Jamaat ul-Fuqra. Its members are devoted followers of Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani, an extremist cleric in Pakistan.

The organization says it has a network of 22 "villages" around the U.S., with Islamberg as its main headquarters in New York. The Clarion Project obtained secret MOA footage showing female members receiving paramilitary training at Islamberg. It was featured on the Kelly File on FOX News Channel in October. A second MOA tape released by Clarion shows its spokesman declaring the U.S. to be a Muslim-majority country. [more...] Watch Ryan on The Blaze TV

Pay Day for the Mullahs

Iran is receiving $550 million of its frozen oil revenues under the interim nuclear deal the Obama administration has pushed forward with Iran. The United States "helped facilitate the transfer" of the funds to Iran through unnamed foreign banks according to Reuters, citing a U.S. Treasury spokeswoman.  Iran's official IRNA news agency has reported that the $550 million already has been transferred to Iran's Central Bank account in Switzerland. This transfer is just the first installment of the $4.2 billion of blocked Iranian oil revenues held abroad that the U.S. has committed to help unfreeze. [more...]

Obama Blames U.S. for 'Extremism'

President Obama's State of the Union gave us a look at the premises driving his foreign policy. It showed that he believes Islamic terrorists to be driven by frustration over perceived injustices at the hands of the West, rather than an ideology. It is because of this frame of mind that he can defend the faulty nuclear deal with Iran and depict the regime as a less threatening version of the Soviet Union. [more...

The Iranian Threat & Obama’s Deception

President Obama misled the American people in his January 28th State of the Union address regarding what Iran is required to do under the six-month interim nuclear agreement reached between Iran and the P5+1 nations - the five permanent members of the UN Security Council (the United States, United Kingdom, France, Russia, and China) plus Germany. Attempting to Rewrite History on Benghazi

LEGISLATIVE ACTION ALERT!!

Attempting to Rewrite History on Benghazi

By Brigitte Gabriel

Over the past few weeks, the assassination of 4 Americans in Benghazi, Libya on September 11th
, 2012, has re-emerged in the news.

Unfortunately, Benghazi has not reappeared in the headlines due to new revelations about the attack on the US diplomatic facilities there or because there has been any progress in tracking down those who planned, led and carried out the attack.

No, Benghazi came back to the news because the New York Times published a shamefully sloppy report on the attack that simply defies belief. The Times essentially parroted the original Obama administration line that Benghazi was not an organized terrorist attack, but was a violent reaction to a video posted on YouTube, a theory that has already been discredited by independent media investigations over and over again.

As if on cue, following close on the heels of the New York Times report, the US State Department released a statement, basically stating that Al Qaeda was not responsible for the Benghazi attack. The publication The Hill noted this development in a recent article, HERE.

The Obama administration actually invented an entirely new term to sell this theory: “Core Al Qaeda.” Such terminology, of course, is complete nonsense. The Obama State Department has done a poor job of keeping up with the evolving Jihadist threat. The enemy is NOT simply Al Qaeda (core or otherwise), despite the efforts by the braintrust at Foggy Bottom to convince America that this is so. Unfortunately, there are many Jihadist terrorist organizations in addition to Al Qaeda that would do America harm: Lashkar e Taiba, the Taliban, Al Shabaab and Ansar al Sharia to name a few. But there is no organization named “Core Al Qaeda.”

Here is a message to Secretary of State John Kerry: 1999 called and said it wants its counterterrorism policy back.

Fortunately, not everyone in Washington is as clueless as the Obama State Department and not every news organization is as compromised as the New York Times.

In fact, I was heartened, recently, to see the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) define the enemy as a “very fundamentalist jihadist Islamic community” – in a warning that terrorism is on the rise. During a December 1st interview on CNN’s State of the Union with Candy Crowley, Senator Feinstein noted,

I think there is a real displaced aggression in this very fundamentalist jihadist Islamic community. And that is, that the West is responsible for everything that goes wrong and that the only thing that's going to solve this, is Islamic sharia law and the concept of the caliphate. And I see more groups, more fundamentalists, more jihadists, more determined to kill to get where they want to get. So, it's not an isolated phenomenon. You see these groups spread a web of connections. And this includes North Africa, it includes the Middle East, it includes other areas as well.

Among the true champions on Capitol Hill trying to get to the bottom of the Benghazi attack is South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy (SC-4th). Congressman Gowdy has repeatedly expressed support for his colleague Congressman Frank Wolf’s call for a select committee to investigate the Benghazi attack.

Not long ago, Congressman Gowdy made an impassioned plea demanding answers on Benghazi and admonishing the news media for not asking the tough questions of the Obama administration. It’s very much worth a review.

We at ACT For America echo Congressman Gowdy’s sentiments and fully support Congressman Wolf’s call for a select committee to investigate the attack via his legislation, H. Res. 36. It’s been over one year. Enough is enough.

But we need your help, as this job won’t get done unless the American people make it clear to their federal legislators that they will hold them fully accountable if the important Benghazi questions are not answered.

IMPORTANT ACTION ALERT!

Please take a minute today to review a list of legislators in the U.S. House of Representatives who HAVE signed on to H. Res. 36 and who are interested in learning the truth about this violent Jihadist attack – one that resulted in the deaths of 4 Americans, including a U.S. Ambassador.

Click HERE to review the current list of House members who have cosponsored H. Res. 36.

If your House member is NOT on the list, please contact him/her TODAY via phone call or e-mail. Respectfully, express your support for H. Res. 36 and your opinion that this issue is a very high priority for you.

Let your House legislator know that you will be watching to see if he/she signs on to this important bill over the coming days, and that you will have this issue in mind when election day rolls around in November.

(NOT SURE WHO REPRESENTS YOU IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES? CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT.)

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. THERE ARE NO EXCUSES FOR ANY FURTHER DELAY IN SETTING UP A SPECIAL COMMITTEE TO INVESTIGATE THE BENGHAZI ATTACK.

Thank you for taking action. Working together, we will get this job done.
