On the eve of the third and final presidential debate, which
deals with foreign policy, the New York
Times ran a lead story, citing unnamed Obama administration officials, that
the United States and Iran have agreed in principle for the first time to one-on-one
negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program. Iran reportedly has insisted that its
direct talks with Washington should not begin until after the U.S. presidential
election on November 6 and wants to broaden the scope of the discussions beyond
just the nuclear enrichment issues. [more...]

Destroy-Israel Conference Comes to Illinois
By Ryan Mauro
On November 22-25, activists with links to
the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas will come together at the Oak Brook Hills
Marriott Resort in Illinois for American Muslims for Palestine’s (AMP) Conference
for Palestine in the U.S.: A Movement United. The event also highlights the
Islamists’ success in forging interfaith partnerships with Reverend Donald
Wagner of Evangelicals for Middle East Understanding as one of the speakers. [more...]

Act 2 for the United Nations Arms Trade
Treaty
By Joseph Klein
It looks like the United Nations Arms Trade
Treaty (ATT), which got nowhere during a month of negotiations at UN
headquarters in New York last July, is about to get another chance on the
global stage. A resolution is likely to be introduced at the UN General
Assembly this month calling for a revival of the negotiations at a treaty
conference next March in New York. The difference this time is that the treaty
proponents are trying to eliminate the consensus process and allow the treaty
to be approved by a two-thirds vote of the General Assembly. They also aim to
beef up the most current draft version of the text. [more...]

The Benghazi Dilemma: Why the Radical Islamists are Still Winning
By Al Fadi
Since the attack on the U.S. consulate in
Benghazi, there have been many conflicting reports about the circumstances
surrounding this troubling incident. This reveals a very sad reality: either
the U.S. intelligence community is in a state of chaos, or the State Department
and the Administration are not communicating well with one another. Either way,
this is very troubling. It tells the radicals that the U.S. is not prepared to
defend its foreign establishments - a welcome invitation to the terrorists to
launch more deadly attacks. It also sends an indirect message to the radical
Islamists that the U.S. is not willing to denounce them or their ideology; rather,
a cover-up is being constructed to avoid taking such direction. This can only
mean one thing to the radicals: they are winning BIG. Such a reality can fuel
their desires even more to launch other attacks, knowing there are no immediate
consequences. [more...]
Arming Our Enemies
By Joseph Klein
The Obama administration has a habit of
helping our enemies obtain weapons, with lethal consequences. The Fast &
Furious operation resulted in guns going to Mexican drug lords. The Libyan
“lead from behind” operation allowed weapons to get loose and ultimately into
the hands of Islamist jihadists. The latest episode involves arms flowing from
Islamic countries, who claim to be in our camp, to Islamist jihadists, some
with ties or affiliations with al Qaeda. [more...]

Muslim-Christian Interfaith Group Calls for Blasphemy Laws
By Ryan Mauro
The United Muslim Christian Forum, a friendly-sounding
“interfaith” group issued a press release on September 18 demanding the
prosecution of the makers of the low-quality Innocence
of Muslims film that appeared on YouTube. The Islamist agenda of
the group is in written form but if the past is any indication, that won’t stop
elected officials and Christian leaders from embracing it in order to prove
their tolerance.

Romney's Foreign Policy Vision
By
Al Fadi
In
his speech at VMI, Presidential candidate Romney laid out a plan to reform the
current U.S. foreign policy and its handling of terrorism in the Middle East.
Mr. Romney pointed out that the attack in Benghazi which resulted in the
killing of U.S. Ambassador Stevens was the work of the same group responsible
for the 9/11 attack, something that was very evident to the world, and radical
Islamists did not even hide. Mr. Romney’s proposal to reform the U.S. foreign
policies by exhibiting confidence in the U.S. cause, clarity in its purpose,
and resolution in its mind towards these serious regional issues that have
carried a negative impact on national security in recent years, is without a
doubt the only way radical Islamists can be stopped and reduced, and for them
to look up to the U.S. once again as the power it once was. Unless such
reformation takes place SOON, the world will continue to experience a major
shift in global powers where radical Islamists are at the center of it all. [more...]

Violence Breaks Out in Iran as
Economy Falters
By Ryan Mauro
Don’t mistake the quieting of the Green Revolution as a
sign of popular support for the Iranian regime. Those that risked their lives
to protest in the summer of 2009 aren’t going to be won over by their
oppressors. Since then, the economic situation has only gotten worse and with
it, the anger of the Iranian people. All that is needed for Round Two is a
trigger and the collapse of the Iranian currency over the past week might just
be it.

The
Sharia Brief - Why "the Video" Was a Success for Sharia
By
Al Fadi
The
recent out-of-control riots all over the Islamic world over an anti-Islamic
movie which the majority of Muslims were not even aware of until the U.S.
embassy in Egypt issued an apology concerning this low budget YouTube video,
serves as another example of the lack of understanding by the Obama
administration of how the Islamic culture works. Such an apology sparked an
unexpected wave of violence that spanned from the far Western region of North
Africa all the way across to South East Asia, resulting in the tragic death of
the U.S. ambassador to Libya and the deaths of scores of other innocent people.
It is quite disturbing to see this trend of an attitude downplaying such major
and serious terror operations which stem from the core agenda of Radical Islam.
Either the national security advisors are not receiving proper intelligence or
they are down-right clueless to the risk of radical Islam and are ill-equipped
to assess the type of intelligence they are receiving. [more...]

U.N. Official Calls Free Speech a 'Gift'
By
Joseph
Klein
The
United Nations would have us forget all about the idea of inalienable rights
with which all individuals are endowed by their Creator. The UN wants us to
forget the idea that government was established for the purpose of securing
these rights, not to create them with the power to take them away. Such ideas
are so old-fashioned, after all. The Declaration of Independence and the Bill
of Rights, including the First Amendment, were written in the eighteenth
century. The United Nations believes it has a much more modern idea. [more...]
